This is a great setting to obtain a well rounded preceptor-ship in medical oncology and hematology. NP see patients in the clinic and hospital independently.

Coyote Ridge Correctional Center providing Urgent, Emergent, acute, and chronic care for adult males aged 18- end of life care.

Occupational medicine clinic; treating injured workers

Treating injuries on the job; strong ortho workup as well as psych; working with multiple disciplines.

Level 5 trauma ER serving pediatric, adult, elderly, and very elderly, and OB/Gyn populations. Also urgent care, family and hospitalist

This preceptorship also highlights unique challenges faced by rural populations. This preceptorship fulfills requirements for chronic and acute problems for family, adult, acute care and ER NP programs. Average 2-3 patients per hour most days.

General surgery and trauma, no operating room.

In patient and out patient setting. 12yr old and up. General surgery, trauma.

Hospital based Multidiciplinary Addiction Recovery Unit

Students will get experience working on a 14 bed dual diagnosis Addiction Recovery Unit. Addiction Medicine is primary with a psychiatric mental health component.

Hospitalist, 12 hr night shifts, cross call. Busy hospital with complicated patients.

I have 9 years experience in hospital medicine including 2 years in a neuro icu and 2 years in medical icu. 12 hours are not required and we can find a schedule that will help you reach your hours. If you are traveling from another area I may have a place to stay for cheap while in Spokane.

Inpatient pulmonary Medicine consult Internal medicine

I work with two other app( nurse practitioners and they are also wanting to precept students, I am the organizer for preceptors for our group.

I work in the sleep medicine clinic associated with Kootenai Health. I have precepted several students, many of which obtained positions through my organization.

I am happy to offer up to 40 hours/ week for the full semester or part of the semester.
