preceptor incentive programs coming Fall ‘22

Coming this fall- incentive programs for training nurses, including NP students!

The Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission (NCQAC) announces the launch of the Washington State Nurse Grant Preceptor Program (WSNGP) in Fall 2022.  The 2022 Washington State Legislature provided funding to incentivize nurses who volunteer to precept nursing students at practice sites approved by educational programs.  This will be monetary compensation, the amount of which will soon be determined. The incentive will be paid directly to LPNs, RNs, and ARNPs who precept nursing students and meet eligibility requirements. The NCQAC website provides an overview of the WSPNG program including eligibility requirements and the reimbursement process for the grant incentive.
