Events for 2018!

Dear Nurse Practitioners

 

We at the Columbia River Nurse Practitioner Association are excited to announce our 2018 plans!  We remain focused on on our goal to support and promote the role of the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and to provide a forum for a collegial exchange of ideas.

 

New opportunities for 2018 include a NP Breakfast Journal Club - an informal meetup every other month with an article to discuss. Our first meeting will be March 10th @10:30am and have selected a New Yorker article titled “The Heroism of Incremental Care”. I will be sending an email with a copy of article, and location details. Please email ColumbiariverNP@gmail.com if you are interested or have an article you would like to share. 

 

We are also planning an inaugural 1-day CME conference this November with support from ARNP’s United of Washington State. We hope this can be an ongoing event to bring CME to our

  

We will continue with our provider Q&A events throughout year as well as social events including our annual August Picnic and holiday party.

 

As a reminder we are currently accepting membership dues for 2018, $35 regular membership, $25 for students and retired members. Membership in the CRNPA supports the goals of the CRNPA and aids us in our outreach and education efforts. Benefits of membership include reduced registration to our CME event, $10 reduced AANP membership, and access to all CRNPA events. Do not forget that dues are tax deductible and may be reimbursable by your employer. email us and we can email back a member form or come to event. coming soon (we hope) we will have electronic payment option.

 

We welcome your ideas and enthusiasm to enhance CRNPA. Please tell us how you want to be involved in the CRNPA this year.
