Position Description

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Gastroenterology

Location: Edmonds, WA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Four 10-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM)

Job Summary:

The ARNP/PA will manage a patient panel and see up to 16 patients per day. With a strong ramp-up and onboarding plan, the provider will diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for patients with GI-related issues and other acute or chronic conditions under the supervision of a physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a daily patient panel with autonomy and efficiency
  • Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for GI and related conditions
  • Order and interpret lab work, imaging, and diagnostic tests
  • Document progress notes and update treatment plans as needed in eClinicalWorks
  • Write and refill prescriptions as appropriate
  • Respond to patient portal messages and prep charts outside of clinic hours
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians and broader care teams
  • Review pathology and test results, adjusting care plans accordingly
  • Participate in specialty-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Active ARNP or PA license in Washington State
  • National certification with prescriptive authority
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an NP or PA
  • Related specialties: Internal Medicine, Behavioral Health, Psychology
  • GI experience highly preferred (salary premium for 4–5 years GI experience)

Compensation & Benefits:
